Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare has reached a 60-day agreement with United Healthcare’s AmeriChoice. This agreement is retroactive to November 1. During this time Methodist will be working aggressively towards establishing a long-term agreement with AmeriChoice that focuses on the ultimate goal of caring for patients.

Recent changes in TennCare require hospitals to negotiate new contracts with the two new managed care organizations (MCOs). Methodist has already reached an agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee’s Blue Care program.
